This is a starting draft written to match what the extension actually does. Have a lawyer review it and fill in the bracketed fields before you publish or submit to the Chrome Web Store.

What Lunaris does

Lunaris watches public web pages that you choose, detects changes to pricing, offers, products, positioning and calls to action, and explains what those changes mean.

What we collect

On your computer, in Chrome’s local extension storage:

• The competitor pages you added, and the names you gave them
• A structured snapshot of each page (prices, offers, headings, navigation labels, button text) and a hash of its visible text
• The changes we detected, their evidence and timestamps
• Your settings and your licence key

None of this syncs to a Google account or leaves your machine, except as described below.

Sent to Gumroad when you activate or when we re-check your subscription: your licence key and our product ID. Gumroad tells us whether the subscription is active. [Link to Gumroad’s privacy policy.]

Sent to our insight service when we generate a written analysis: the single detected change, the short passages of competitor page text that evidence it, the page URL, and your licence key. We use this to produce the analysis and to confirm your subscription. We do not send your identity or your browsing.

What we never collect

• Your browsing history, or any page you did not explicitly add
• Page contents from sites you are merely visiting
• Your cookies, logins or session data — requests to competitor sites are made without your cookies
• Content behind logins, paywalls or CAPTCHAs

Retention

Snapshots and history stay on your machine until you delete them. Use Delete local data in Settings to remove everything. Our insight service keeps generated analyses in a short-lived cache [state duration] and does not build a profile of you.

Third parties

• Gumroad — payments and licence verification
• [Model provider] — generates written analysis from the change and its evidence
• [Hosting provider] — runs our insight service

We do not sell data and we do not use it for advertising.

Your choices

• Remove any competitor at any time
• Turn notifications off in Settings
• Reset activation clears your licence from this computer
• Delete local data removes everything Lunaris has stored
• Uninstalling removes all local data

Children

Lunaris is a business tool and is not directed at children under [13/16].
